We know no two events are exactly alike, that's why the Las Cruces Convention Center is designed to be as flexible as it is attractive. The LEED certified Convention Center is 55,000 square feet with just over 30,000 square feet of meeting space. The facility features a 14,500 square foot exhibition hall as well as a nearly 9,000 square foot ballroom. There are 6 break-out rooms with nearly 3,000 square feet of space. Additionally, the building boasts over 5,000 square feet outdoor space and 8,500 square feet of indoor pre-function space.
Location:
The Convention Center is located at 680 University Avenue, at the corner of University Avenue and Union Avenue. The Center is within close proximity of restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and boasts over 2,500 hotel rooms within a 6 mile radius.
Exhibit Hall:
14,500 square feet of column-free contiguous space. The Exhibit Hall features carpeted floors and access to utilities for ease of logistics and exhibitor satisfaction. The 20’ clearance height of the space offers the flexibility for bringing in large exhibits and rigging from the ceiling for full production events.
Ballroom:
Approximately 9,000 square feet of column-free carpeted space and the 24’ ceilings will show the exposed wood beams to add to the ambiance of the well appointed space. The Ballroom boasts an outdoor covered event area with views of the Organ Mountains.
Meeting Rooms:
Nearly 3,000 square feet of breakout space in six 18' x 27' meeting rooms which can also be combined to form two 36' x 54' meeting rooms 1,458 square feet each.
Prefunction Space:
Over 8,500 square feet of indoor prefunction space as well as over 5,000 square feet of outdoor space.
Food and Beverage Service:
In-house, onsite food and beverage services will be provided exclusively by the Las Cruces Convention Center. The team at the Convention Center will work to create customized options that fit the taste and budget of any group. The food and beverage department can create menus to suit your group whether it’s a meeting for 20 or a gala for 800.
Equipment and Services:
The Las Cruces Convention Center boasts both onsite exhibitor services and Audio Visual. These services will enhance yours and your exhibitor’s experience by having the equipment and staff on hand throughout your events. Complete Audio Visual are available from a single microphone or a full stage production complete with audio and video recording capabilities.
Parking:
Onsite parking offers 350 paved spaces and over 100 spaces of overflow parking with easy access to the building. Additional overflow parking is located a short walk from the building.
Truck Access:
Truck access is conveniently laid out with a “U-shaped” loading dock with a dock leveler to allow load in and out for all size trucks. Additionally a drive up ramp with a 12x12 overhead door allows direct access to the exhibit hall floor. A ramp leading to the outdoor plaza and 2- 8 x 10 doors allow access to the Ballroom.
Electrical:
Electrical power for events is conveniently located in floor boxes located on 30’ centers throughout the exhibit hall and ballroom. These boxes all have multiple 60 amp service and various boxes have 208 volt single phase connections. Supplemental power is provided at various locations to provide stage or heavy exhibit needs. These are 200 Amp, 3 Phase disconnects. Power for registration or exhibits is located throughout the Pre-function areas.
